Vegan pizza... what's pizza without cheese you might think?
Wonderful!
Ingredients:
Base
- 4 cups of flour (wheat-free if you choose)
- 1-2 cups warm water
- 2 tsp baking powder or active yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 Tbs olive oil
Toppings- here are some that I used, but go wild!
- Tomato for spreading (either fresh or tinned tomato that has been cooked)
- Mushrooms
- Olives
- Oregano
- Banana
- Avo
Method:
Set the oven at 240'C.
Mix the dry ingredients together, place in an air tight container or simply cover with cling-wrap for an hour or two to rise.
Knead the dough and create fun shapes and sizes (we used a wine bottle).
Spread the tomato over the top and place other toppings on top of that.
Bake for 6-10 minutes, depending on thickness of the base.
