Seed Butter

The different varieties of nut and seed butters are endless, but this one is particularly flavoursome and smooth. It can be enjoyed as a spread or dip.
                                              



Ingredients:
  • ½ cup of hulled pumpkin seeds 
  • ½ cup of hulled sunflower seeds 
  • 1 Tbsp Tamari or any other soy sauce 
  • 3 Tbsp nutritional yeast 
  • 3 Tbsp Tahini (Sesame Paste) 
  • Juice of ½ a lemon 
  •  ½ Cup filtered water (add more as needed)
Method:

Toast seeds in a dry pan until it starts to brown, 1 – 1½ minutes. Grind into a fine powder once the seeds have cooled down. Add to  the rest of the ingredients into a food processor and mix until it is a smooth paste.
