The truth about eggs .... 

If you eat farm eggs or food products containing egg then you are responsible for this. Here tiny day-old chicks ride a hatchery conveyor belt of horror. The reality: If you are male you are surplus to requirements and immediately tossed out like garbage, minced up alive or gassed (6 billion of them annually worldwide). If you are female you are debeaked, vaccinated, roughly packed into a crate and sent away to face a short life of servitude, treated as nothing more than an egg-laying machine. You are killed at 72 weeks of age..


Most people don't look inside a hatchery because they know if they did, they might be compelled to make different choices. It is our fear of doing something different that keeps us stuck in old ways or behavior.
